Follow the directions on this page to set up dial up properties in computers with Windows XP Operating System in them.

1. Click on the "My Computer" icon which is located on your desktop

2. Under "Other Places" a folder called "Control Panels" is listed. Double click on that. Then you should see an icon called "Network & Internet Connections". Double click on that.

3. You should see a window giving you an option to "Pick a Task" among 3 tasks. Select the first one "Setup or change your Internet Connection"

4. A Window should pull up titled "Internet Properties. The window will have several tabs on top, make sure you are under the "Connections" Tab.

5. Click on "Add".

6. A window should pop-up giving you several options among which only one can be selected. Select the first option "Dial-up to Private Network-using a telephone line or ISDN". Click on Next

7. Enter our dial up access number in the telephone number field: 2361700

Do not enter area code. Leave the area code field blank. Click "Next."

8. Type a name you want for this connection. Type in "MegaByte OnLine" in the empty field. Hit "Next" and then click on "Finish"

9. A window should pop-up titled "MegaByte OnLine Settings". If the window does not pop-up, then manually click on Settings, right below the Add & Remove buttons.

10. Enter your username and enter your password. Leave the Domain field EMPTY. Click OK to save the settings.

11. Select the option "Always dial this default connection" and click "OK" to finally save all the settings.

You are done. To connect to the internet, just double click on your web browser eg Internet Explorer or Netscape, and to check email click on Outlook Express or whatever email software you have. Email configuration help is also provided in our Support Pages.
